Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and reliable General Administration Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of Swindon Town Football Club. This role involves providing administrative support, answering telephone calls, and assisting with the club's ticketing operations while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Welcome and assist visitors and customers.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Assist with ticket sales and ticketing enquiries for Swindon Town Football Club matches and events.
- Process ticket bookings and payments accurately.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with club policies and procedures.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Previous administrative or customer service experience is desirable.
- Experience with ticketing systems is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.

- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload.
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the club.

For positions where a criminal record check (DBS) is identified as necessary, this will be carried out in line with the Club’s safer recruitment procedures and relevant legislation.
