About The School

Rossendale is a day school catering for the needs of pupils who are autistic and academically able. All pupils have a draft or final Education, Health and Care Plan. The School provides education for young people aged from 7 18 years of age. Key stages 3 and 4 are based on the main school site, whilst Key stage 2 and 5 are based at our Campus which is based in the local community. At Key stage 4 and 5 we offer a wide range of GCSE subjects, BTEC Awards, Functional Skills, ASDAN and Entry Level qualifications and A level courses at the sixth form provision. Given the disrupted nature of our pupils’ education, prior to their admission to Rossendale, we have had some outstanding examination results. The school admits both boys and girls.

As part of Aspris Children’s Services, we are immensely proud of the career pathway and training we can offer you. We ask that you can demonstrate the values needed for a role, transferable skills and life experience and in return we will give you all the training and support you need to progress.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
