Job Opportunity: Administrative Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a capable and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) Safeguarding and Looked After Children Team. Integral to the smooth running of the department, you will provide a comprehensive, high quality and efficient administrative service to the Team.

About the Role

The post holder should have strong organisational skills, be an effective communicator and be able to work with their own initiative and as part of a team. This is a challenging and rewarding role in which you will be ideally placed to enhance your administrative skills.

Key Requirements

  • Sufficient experience in an administrative/secretarial role
  • Good standard of education
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Proactive, flexible, and organised
  • Ability to work to tight timescales and keep a calm head under pressure
  • Familiarity with data protection issues and patient confidentiality
  • Understanding of safeguarding would be advantageous
