We are pleased to offer an opportunity for the role of Administrative Assistant (with a focus on Careers and Work Experience) at Ratton School. This role provides a valuable chance for professional growth and development within our school community.
This role is part-time (11 paid hours per week, term time only) to be worked across 2 days (to include a 30-minute unpaid break). Hours of work will be 9.30am-3.30pm. Days of work to be confirmed.
As the Administrative Assistant (with Careers and Work Experience Focus) you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including word processing, correspondence processing, data input, filing, communicating with employers and external agencies and other careers related admin.
The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to change and be willing to learn and a commitment to supporting our school's values and objectives.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Accurately input data into computerized systems, databases and spreadsheets and processes, retrieve and cleanse data as necessary
- Liaise with staff, parents, students, employers and external agencies as appropriate, sharing information as directed and ensuring local / national procedures are properly followed.
- Maintain all paper and electronic filing systems, including establishment of new files, maintaining and updating school information as required.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Grade: Single Status 3-4, points 7-10 (£24,796 to £25,583 fte) per annum, pro rata.
Actual Salary: £6,369.00 gross per annum = £530.75 gross per month.
Hours: 11.00 hours per week to be worked 9.30-3.30 over two days with a 30-minute unpaid break daily.
Contract: Permanent, term time only & holiday pay entitlement.
