Description:

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to help support the North American Placement team at Guy Carpenter on an 8 Month Fixed Term Contract. This is available on a hybrid basis, offering home working for 2 days, with the other 3 days based in our office in London.

Within this role you will provide efficient administrative support to the wider team. To be successful, you will need to be detail-oriented, adaptable, and confident working in a fast-paced professional environment.

This role is ideal for a recent A-Level (or equivalent) / school leaver or Graduate eager to launch their career, or for someone with prior experience in an administrative role.

We will rely on you to:

  • Manage diaries for senior-level employees, including scheduling internal and external meetings and coordinating with clients and support staff as needed.
  • Efficiently process expenses and arrange relevant travel bookings as required.
  • Create and edit documents using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, ensuring all materials meet established standards and are kept up to date.
  • Carry out routine administrative duties and assist with specific projects as required.
  • Collect, organize, and reconcile receipts, identifying any missing documentation.
  • Provide cover for other Administrative Assistants to ensure seamless support across the team.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times, particularly when handling sensitive information and internal policies.
  • Work as a proactive team player, offering assistance during quieter periods.
