Administrative & Legal Support Assistant (12-Month FTC) | US Law Firm | Hybrid
We’re proud to be partnering with a well-established international law firm with a strong London presence. They are looking to hire a dynamic Administrative & Legal Support Assistant on a 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract to cover maternity leave.
This opportunity offers a diverse mix of responsibilities, combining office coordination, legal support, and front-of-house duties in a busy and professional setting.
What does this role offer: Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home (possible flex for 3/2 the right person) Central London office location Competitive salary (based on experience) Broad role with exposure across operations and legal teams Small, friendly, collaborative working environment within a global business
Key Responsibilities: Delivering day-to-day administrative assistance to team members Overseeing general office coordination Supporting workplace compliance processes, including health and safety activities Acting as a key contact for travel bookings and accommodation arrangements Reception duties and welcoming visitors when required Helping organise internal functions and client-facing events Managing relationships with office service providers and ensuring smooth operations Assisting with research and project tasks Providing cover for secretarial duties during team absences or peak workloads Supporting with system administration

What we’re looking for: Around 2+ years’ experience in an administration, secretarial or operational role within a law firm or professional services environment Confident user of Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational ability with a keen eye for detail Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure A proactive, flexible mindset with a willingness to support across multiple areas Professional and approachable, with the ability to build strong working relationships
