Job Description: Administrative Officer

We are seeking to appoint an Administrative Officer to support various departments and areas within the school. The successful applicant will be based mainly within the front office but may be called on to provide administrative support to other curriculum areas and staff as required.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Data entry
  • Communication with parents, colleagues, and students
  • Collating information

You will work under the direct supervision of the Headteacher’s PA in a small team of administrative officers who will support you in the role.

Requirements

  • A team player who is happy to support different colleagues as required.
  • Someone who can demonstrate attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Someone highly organized, who can prioritize tasks and manage a varying workload.
  • Experience working in a school environment would be an advantage.

This role is UK-based, and your right to work will need to be established as part of the appointment process.

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of the advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
