Service Operations Administrator

ICT Services | Service Desk | Hybrid Working (3 days in office and 2 from home)

Are you an Excel expert who loves turning data into meaningful insights? Do you enjoy spotting trends, identifying anomalies and using reporting tools such as Power BI to drive better business decisions?

We're looking for a Service Operations Administrator to join our Service Desk team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel and reporting skills who enjoys working with data, producing insightful analytics and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing warranty claims, analysing service costs, developing reporting and dashboards, and providing valuable business insight through accurate data analysis and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the end-to-end LLU and Parts Warranty process for Annodata and Kyocera/MCL, including associated reporting
  • Producing, maintaining and developing service cost analytics, dashboards and management information
  • Using Excel, Power BI and other reporting tools to provide meaningful insight that supports business decision-making
  • Proactively identifying anomalies within Vale and other ITSM platforms, working with colleagues across the business to investigate and resolve issues
  • Supporting the administration and maintenance of tools, knowledge bases and customer documentation used for service cost analysis
  • Working closely with the Finance team to meet reporting deadlines and ensure financial clarity
  • Liaising with Field Engineers, Team Leaders and Regional Service Managers to support warranty information retrieval
  • Highlighting trends, errors and opportunities for improvement across service operations
  • Supporting warranty claims management and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Undertaking additional duties as required to support the wider Service Desk function

What we're looking for

  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience working with large datasets, analysis and reporting
  • Experience producing dashboards and management information
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar analytical and visualisation tools
  • Good knowledge of Vale would be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure
  • Confidence communicating technical, service and commercial information to different audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
