Salary Grade: T23
Pay Range: $32,000-$53,664 (annually)
Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Dean and Medical Director in the School of Podiatric Medicine (TUSPM), the Administrative Specialist provides administrative, clerical, and facilities-related support services to TUSPM's Health Services Division, specifically the Foot and Ankle Institute (FAI), Temple Total Therapy (T3), and satellite practices, in an accurate, timely, and courteous manner. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparing, editing, and maintaining clinical training orientation materials
- Assisting in the preparation and dissemination of clinical faculty and student schedules in the FAI
- Managing the schedule of the Assistant Dean and Medical Director
- Initiating purchase requisitions
- Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
- Scheduling and facilitating departmental meetings and training sessions

Required Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred
- Two years' experience in an academic and/or health care setting preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills And Abilities
- Must be organized, self-directed, detail-oriented, able to work independently, communicate clearly and effectively, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Must have a customer service orientation, project management skills, and the ability to interact with professionalism and tact under stress.
- Must be proficient with applications such as Microsoft Office and be able to adapt to new technology.
This position will be on-site.
