Administration Team Leader Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and focused Administration Team Leader to join the GI Services Team.
About the Role
The Division incorporates surgical and medical specialties that manage diseases and disorders of the digestive system. The role is responsible for the careful management of RTT pathways and waiting times with direct line management responsibility of 5 Administration Coordinators and 1 Administration Assistant. You will oversee a busy and demanding admissions service, ensuring your team delivers on a range of targets including theatre and outpatient utilization, RTT compliance and waiting list management.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills and a drive and energy to improve the patient experience.
- Knowledge of 18 week pathways, cancer waiting times and admissions management would be advantageous.
- Manage a team of 6 staff who look after the Colorectal Surgery Pathway.
- Ensure a smooth running of those services with good utilization of all resources.
- Monitor RTT compliance and actively seek ways to reduce waiting times.
- Lead change within your team and contribute to service improvement projects across the GI Surgery team.
- Be a key member of the GI Surgery Management team.
