Role Overview

  • Position: Healthcare Administrator
  • Location: Suffolk team
  • Contract: 40 hours per week over 5 days (including weekends, on a rota basis)
  • Description: This role involves a variety of administrative duties, including but not limited to:
    • Booking patients into appointments
    • Handling phone calls (both inbound and outbound)
    • Replying to emails and enquiries
    • Managing post and dispatching letters
  • Environment: Fast-paced, with a different task each day, making it ideal for someone who enjoys varied, dynamic work.

Ideal Skills & Experience

While training is provided, these traits will be beneficial:

  • Car: Hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Customer/Patient Facing Experience: Both preferred and necessary for empathetic communication with potentially anxious patients.
  • Administration: Experience in a busy administrative role.
  • Office 365 Proficiency: Must be a competent user of Microsoft Office 365 programs.
  • Tech Skills: Comfortable using new systems, particularly patient record systems.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Good phone manner and clear communication (oral and written English).
    • Willingness to contribute collaboratively in a team and support others when needed.
