Your new company
Hays are supporting a well-established organisation based in Elgin who are seeking an experienced Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis for an initial 6-9-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to secure an immediate start and a long-term role, whilst gaining valuable experience within a busy and supportive working environment. This role offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday, and is based in the office.
Your new role
As an Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to a busy team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be required to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and maintain a consistently high level of accuracy across all aspects of your work. Your responsibilities will include managing incoming emails and shared inboxes, maintaining accurate records and documentation, processing information, updating internal systems and supporting colleagues with a range of administrative tasks. You will liaise regularly with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams, customers and contractors, requiring strong communication and relationship-building skills.

This role will also involve occasional site visits. Therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have previous administration experience and be confident working within a busy office environment. You will possess excellent organisational skills, a strong eye for detail and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines. Strong systems skills are essential, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. You will be confident navigating multiple systems, handling large volumes of information and managing email correspondence efficiently. You will be a professional and proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers and external contractors. A full UK driving licence is required due to the need for occasional travel to sites.
