Location: New Vision Bradford – Main base: 10 Currer Street, Bradford, BD1 5BA (with occasional cover at a second central Bradford site and the Keighley hub)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,877.80 – £28,454 per annum

Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.

About the Role

New Vision Bradford is looking for an organised, friendly and reliable Administrator / Receptionist to join our team. Based mainly at our central Bradford office (10 Currer Street), with occasional cover at a second Bradford site and our Keighley hub, you will help support the smooth day-to-day running of the service. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, service users, staff and partner agencies, providing a welcoming reception service and helping ensure enquiries are handled appropriately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and support visitors, service users and callers in a professional and welcoming way
  • Answer telephone and email enquiries and direct them as needed
  • Carry out general reception duties including sign-ins, post, deliveries and room bookings
  • Provide basic administrative support across the service
  • Help with keeping records up to date and using computer systems accurately
  • Support appointment scheduling and general office tasks
  • Assist with meeting preparation such as sending out information and taking notes where required
  • Work with colleagues and external partners to help things run smoothly
  • Follow organisational procedures, including confidentiality and data protection

Skills and Experience

  • Some experience in an admin, reception or customer service role
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Teams
  • Able to stay organised and manage different tasks in a busy environment
  • Comfortable working with confidential information
  • Friendly, reliable and willing to help as part of a team
