Field Studies Council Castle Head is seeking an Administrator to support our busy outdoor learning centre.

Permanent contract
Average 20 hours per week - ideally worked on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday. However, flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the centre. The exact work pattern can be discussed further if you are successful in being invited to interview.
Starting salary is £26,302 per annum FTE (actual salary is £14,027 per annum / equates to £13.49 per hour)

In this role, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our learning location and help us create a welcoming experience for the schools and groups who visit us.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries by phone and email, always delivering professional and friendly service
  • Managing course bookings and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in our booking systems
  • Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office and wider team
  • Assisting with the promotion of our programmes to customers, stakeholders, and partners
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the centre and supporting nearby locations when needed
  • This role also forms part of our duty/on-call rota which will involve staying on site on some evenings and overnight to deal with customer issues and respond to emergencies.
