Who are Kwan Yick?
Offering the highest quality brands, we are one of the largest suppliers of Oriental foods, sauces, and packaging materials to the Chinese catering, wholesale, and retail markets in the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previously worked in an administrative job role, preferably in a job role that requires data entry. It would also be beneficial for the candidate to have had some experience working with SAP S4 HANA Public Cloud
- Be able to work on their own initiative
- Be a positive thinker who is able to solve problems quickly
- Be confident in their own decision-making
- Be confident communicating with various departments across the Company
- Be motivated, professional, and organised
- Be confident working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, busy working environment
- Be able to adapt to change
- Be able to follow instructions
- Take pride in their work and in a manner that prioritises both accuracy and efficiency
- Have the current and valid right to work in the UK
- Want to work in an exceptionally motivated, family-run business

Please note, this is a full-time job role offered on a fixed-term basis of three months. The weekly working hours are 42.5 per week (09:00 – 17:30, Monday – Friday).
The work location for this job role is in-person and the successful candidate will be required to reliably commute to the Kwan Yick site in Newport, South Wales.
