Location: Milton Keynes (occasional London visits)
We are looking for an Administrator to join our Real Estate team based in the Milton Keynes office, part of the firm’s Commercial Property & Development group.
Meet the team:
Our Commercial Property team, in Milton Keynes and the wider firm, are one of the fastest growing real estate practices, having more than doubled income and significantly strengthened the team over the last two and half years.
The role:
Working in a dynamic busy team, you will provide administrative support to the team. You will be providing support services to the team dealing with a variety of real estate transactions (e.g. acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, strategic land transactions, real estate development and secured lending).
What you will be doing:
- Opening and closing electronic and paper files
- Using a case management system to process and progress cases
- Carrying out post completion administration including billing and drafting and submitting Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns
- Drafting documents based on client-specific precedents
- Carrying out searches
- Photocopying, scanning, printing, filing and collating documentation in relation to contracts, leases and transfers
- Archiving, storage and retrieval of documentation (electronic and paper versions)
- Providing general administration and organisation of paperwork to support transactions

- Previous office administrative experience, or strong academics with a willingness to learn.
- Confidence with various IT systems and applications.
- The ability to work well in a team and develop good working relationships with colleagues and others.
- Good communication skills with the confidence to liaise openly and clearly.
- The ability to produce a high standard of work, sometimes under pressure, whilst maintaining accuracy and good attention to detail.
- To be able to demonstrate flexibility, initiative and confidence in your own ability.
