Administrator

Administrator (Four Ashes Facility) – £26,780 per annum

Location: 1 Station Road, Four Ashes, Wolverhampton, West Midlands WV10 7DG Hours: 40 per week (Mon–Fri) Additional Benefits: Veolia benefits package

About the Role

As an Administrator, you’ll support the operations team at our Four Ashes facility with meticulous administrative duties while contributing to a more sustainable world.

What You’ll Be Doing

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage general administration tasks to ensure smooth operation of transport logistics at Four Ashes
  • Accurately input, maintain, and manage critical operational data across multiple systems—ensuring compliance and efficiency
  • Handle Purchase Ledger responsibilities, including:
    • Creating and processing purchase orders
    • Updating financial spreadsheets
    • Receipting orders
    • Resolving supplier queries promptly
  • Process and input weekly payroll data for transport staff, ensuring *accuracy, deadlines, and compliance
  • Raise invoices for customers and support billing queries to maintain strong client relationships
  • Gather, analyse, and report KPI data to back operational decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Enforce full policy, procedure, and health & safety compliance at all times

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous administration experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Preference for experience in transport, logistics, or operations sectors (missions sometimes flexible)
  • Keen attention to detail and a track record of high accuracy in data entry, financial processing, and documentation
  • Proficient IT skills, including experience with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets) and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with:
    • Suppliers
    • Customers
    • Internal stakeholders
  • Organised, proactive mindset, with the ability to:
    • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    • Prioritise multiple tasks under deadlines

  • Experience in payroll processing or purchase ledger functions
