An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the North Lancashire and South Cumbria Breast Screening Team within University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, as an administrator.

Job Details

The post is part-time (30 hours per week) and is a permanent position based in the breast screening unit at Royal Lancaster Infirmary. Working days are Tuesday to Friday with start times of 08:00 or 08:30 and 16:30 or 17:00 finish depending on rota duties.

• Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational skills and an ability to focus on, and pay close attention to detail is essential to this role, where long periods of concentration are required.
• Customer Service: Provide an excellent customer service to service users, members of the public, and other external stakeholders.
• Administrative Support: Provide a flexible resource to support the Programme Manager and Administration Manager in providing an efficient administrative service.
• Administrative Duties: Participating in a wide range of administrative duties, which include the coordination of the patient pathway for the NHS Breast Screening Programme and symptomatic service, acting as lead administrator on a rotational basis, booking appointments, and processing results.
• Call/Recall Process: Contribute to the effective operation of the call/recall process using the national breast screening system, adhering to national and local guidelines. This will include organisation of own and other team members' work.
