Administrator – Business and Technology

Location: Covent Garden, London

Salary: £16,665 – £18,716.40 (equivalent to £27,775 – £31,194 full-time)

Hours: 21 hours per week (09:30 – 17:30) Days: Monday, Thursday, Friday

Start Date: Augustus 2026


About the Role

Are you an organised and proactive Administrator looking to develop your skills in a thriving learning environment? Join our Business and Technology department to provide responsive and efficient administrative support for:

  • Business and Technology courses
  • The School Operations Manager
  • Head of Programme
  • Tutor Coordinators
  • Teaching staff

Your duties will align with City Lit’s systems and procedures.

Course Support Coverage

We offer a diverse range of courses, including:

  • Business Management Skills
  • AI Technology
  • Programming
  • Web development
  • Social media
  • Digital Marketing
  • Design software

Our team supports learners to develop their IT and Business Skills, fostering confidence and independence. Many tuition staff are industry specialists with years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing course schedules
  • Maintaining student records
  • Supporting promotional activities
  • Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Playing a key role in supporting the department

Key Requirements: You should submit your CV and covering letter, detailing:

  • Proven experience in administration and customer service
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and student data systems (e.g., EBS, Apply)
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management

  • An interest/knowledge in technology and business skills courses
