Administrator (Claims / Insurance)

Coventry / Hybrid

Talented people are the key to our success

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Claims Administrator to join our Insurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration, customer service, or insurance experience who is looking to develop a rewarding career within the insurance sector.

Working alongside experienced Senior Administrators, you will provide administrative and claims support across a portfolio of insurance claims, helping to ensure an efficient and professional service for policyholders, insurers, brokers, and third parties.

There is genuine scope for progression, with the opportunity to develop as your experience and knowledge grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Log and process new insurance claims accurately on internal systems.
  • Manage claims throughout the lifecycle, from initial notification through to settlement.
  • Review policy documentation to determine levels of cover and claim validity.
  • Request, gather, and verify supporting documentation and evidence.
  • Validate claims against policy terms and conditions.
  • Communicate with claimants, insurers, brokers, and third parties via telephone, email, and webchat.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on company databases and case management systems.
  • Assist with the assessment and valuation of claims using reports, photographs, and supporting evidence.
  • Support claims negotiations and settlement processes where appropriate.
  • Identify potentially suspicious claims and refer them for further investigation.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with regulatory requirements, GDPR standards, and company procedures.
  • Work to agreed service standards, targets, and deadlines.
  • Provide administrative support to Senior Administrators and the wider Insurance team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
