Administrator

Geldards LLP is a leading regional law firm with offices in Cardiff, Derby, Nottingham and London. We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our Commercial Property (Networks) team in our Nottingham office.

In this role you will be key player in the Commercial Property (Networks) team in Nottingham, primarily providing comprehensive administrative assistance to Partners and other fee earners in the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, such as setting up matters, pre-completion paperwork, filing, photocopying, scanning, invoicing etc
  • Deal courteously and promptly with any instructions or queries arising.
  • Be prepared to gain an understanding on Networks’ structure and working practices.
  • Provide administrative support with the use of case management systems.
  • Opening and closing files using case management system.
  • Preparation of documents for signature.
  • Any other reasonable duties commensurate with the grade and post.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience of working with case management systems is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with both clients and all department levels across the Firm.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Ability to prioritise, meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team as well as to use own initiative.
  • Project a professional image at all times.

Benefits

In return you will have the opportunity to develop your career within our high ranked Commercial Property (Networks) team based in our Nottingham office and will be paid a competitive salary (dependent on experience) as well as qualifying for other benefits such as a day off for your birthday and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

  • 35 hour working week - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing to a maximum of 30 days for additional years of service)
