Administration Coordinator

Location: Wigan (WN2)
Salary: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time or part time considered

Healthii People are currently recruiting on behalf of a PCN for an Administration Coordinator to join their growing team.

In simple terms, this role is a mix of administrator, project coordinator, and data analyst for a group of GP surgeries. Making sure the PCN (Primary Care Network) runs efficiently by helping practices meet NHS targets and organising projects.

About the Role

Working closely with the senior management team, you'll play a key role in supporting the coordination of services across multiple GP practices while helping to implement service improvements, monitor performance, and ensure high-quality administrative support.

This is a varied position that combines administration, data management, project coordination and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes and supporting the delivery of excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage shared email inboxes and administrative correspondence.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the senior leadership team.
  • Create and run searches using EMIS and SystmOne to monitor performance against contractual and quality targets.
  • Produce dashboards, reports and performance data for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Analyse trends and identify opportunities to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Support data quality and quality improvement initiatives across multiple GP practices.
  • Build strong working relationships with practice teams to support service development and implementation.
  • Coordinate projects and assist with the rollout of new services, policies and pathways.
  • Support the delivery of QOF, incentive schemes and other quality improvement programmes.
  • Attend meetings, provide updates and contribute to service planning where required.
  • Support colleagues with the effective use of clinical systems and digital technologies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
