We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our team at HMP Stocken, a category C men's Prison located in Rutland.

Hours

Monday – Friday: core office hours (days to be discussed with the successful applicant)

  • 15 hours per week

Salary

This position is part-time, earning up to £11,429 per annum

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Administrator, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

  • Contribute to the delivery of administration services to the healthcare team on-site
  • Work in a busy team to help complete:
    • Varied administrative tasks
    • IT systems management
    • Maintaining databases, waiting lists, and call-up lists
    • Customer service, including answering and directing telephone calls
    • General office duties such as typing, ordering, stock control, and scanning

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
  • Strong IT skills and literacy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
