Location: Royal Mail, Nottingham Mail Centre, Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 2RR
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday with flexibility for some weekend work, various shifts, various start, and finish times. Must be prepared to travel to local sites including Sheffield and Doncaster on occasion.

The Purpose of an Administrator
The purpose of an Administrator is to provide support across Royal Mail’s Nottingham Mail Centre and other cluster sites, helping to strengthen overall unit performance.
Key Responsibilities
In order for Royal Mail to run an efficient operation, the Administrator would be expected to carry out the following tasks:
- Accurately record and monitor all staff hours across the cluster.
- Produce and distribute the weekly financial report for the cluster.
- Prepare and maintain local proformas for sign-on, overtime, subsistence allowance (SA), and related processes as required.
- Coordinate and manage the local leave selection process in collaboration with site contacts.
- Maintain an up-to-date register of duty holders, including associated entitlements.
- Record and manage all absence types, issuing appropriate documentation for annual leave, special leave, sickness, and return-to-work interviews, ensuring effective coordination throughout.
- Compile and report monthly absence figures to the Traffic Office Manager.
- Ensure all personnel records and documentation are maintained securely and in line with compliance requirements.
- Track and manage loaned and borrowed hours using current systems.
- Administer all aspects of PSP (Pay, Annual Leave, Absence, and Allowances) in coordination with local stakeholders.
- Maintain and update systems such as Isotrak, Microlise, and Vision (training provided).
- Provide administrative and reporting support to the Traffic Office Manager, including change management and revision activities.

In addition, you will be required to cover additional admin duties and travel to other local sites including Sheffield and Doncaster when required.
A Bit About You
- Strong IT proficiency with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound understanding of Driving RTD (Road Transport Directive) rules is desirable.
- You need to hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points as travel to other sites is required.
- Knowledge of hours, budget, RCS, and business systems is desirable.
