What’s the role?
Within this role you will provide and promote a superior client experience for Gen II, by providing a multi-jurisdictional service for the Fund Administration business from a data management and system perspective.
You will maintain the ongoing data management of the client/investor lifecycle, by ensuring all client and investor static data is captured, recorded and accurate in all core platforms used by the business, share technical knowledge and experience by promoting the use of Investran, Yardi and other related software across Gen II’s offices, maximizing the value of these and other related systems and ensuring consistent usage of these global platforms, within a control-based environment.
You’ll maintain and develop relationships with the client teams and promote the positive image of Gen II through the professional application of our services and knowledge via the use of these global platforms.
What you’ll be doing
Operational
- Responsible for the day-to-day Client and Investor Data Management for Gen II Fund Administration business that will require multi-jurisdictional visibility
- Take part in static data remediation, migrations to, and efficient admin related reporting from, Investran and other related global platforms
- Working closely with the operations team and clients facing teams to understand fund structures from a system setup perspective
- You will be involved in the onboarding of new clients, from a static data perspective
- You will be involved in the testing of system releases
- Client focused with an ability to work in a fast paced, high pressured work environment
- Part of the team that acts as a point of reference for the Institutional business to answer and resolve issues/queries related to the use of the Investran and other platforms under the Operations Teams remit
- Assist with data integrity monitoring to ensure all client and investor static data is captured, recorded and accurate in all core platforms used by the business
- Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required by your line manager and the Investor Services team

Business Management
- Prioritising own workloads and projects ensuring that deadlines are met
- Dealing with matters and queries in a timely manner
- Responsible for participating in appropriate projects and initiatives
- Attend and constructively contribute to meetings and other internal committees/meetings as required from time to time
Development of others
- Assist with presenting internal short courses and training sessions relating to system usage and setup
- Sharing knowledge pro-actively and freely
The ideal background for this role:
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold, or studying towards a recognised qualification (ICSA/CGI)
- 2 - 3 years’ relevant finance industry experience, within funds or data management role
- Experience of working in a team and collaborating with other
- Experience with Fund structures
- Experience with data input
- Experience with client servicing and adhering to SLAs
- Experience with Investran/Yardi or any funds/real estate business platforms
- Experience with client document portals

Knowledge & skills
- Demonstrated skills as an administrator or support role
- Good knowledge of Excel and other MS office applications (Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Understanding of GDPR and risks associated with personal/sensitive data
- Understanding of the requirements to adhere to static data change controls procedures
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable communicating at all levels in the organisation.
- Curiosity and learning agility in AI including; using available tools for optimization opportunities, embracing AI driven change and being a culture carrier for others
Role Location/Hybrid Schedule
This role is based in our Southampton office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
