Administrator
Location: Pontypridd, Cardiff - Fully Onsite
Contract: Temporary – 1-month contract (Temp to Perm)
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour (PAYE)
OBJECTIVES
- To ensure that Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times
- To ensure that all work completed is accurately charged in accordance with customer contracts
- To assist in raising purchase orders and maintaining records as required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer inbound calls professionally and accurately log all information into Salesforce.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Support the Credit Control team by resolving outstanding account queries.
- Assist with the daily driver debrief process, recording actions and updates in Salesforce.
- Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate administrative records.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety policies and relevant legislation.
- Perform accurate data entry, validation, interrogation, and updates across spreadsheets and bespoke systems.
- Process documentation and information requests efficiently.
- Welcome visitors, arrange meeting rooms, and organise refreshments when required.
- Order and manage office stationery supplies.
- Investigate data issues, produce reports, and provide solution-focused recommendations.
- Monitor waste collection rounds, identify issues, and report them to the management team.
- Reallocate work between waste collection rounds where necessary.
- Operate the weighbridge, including recording incoming and outgoing waste, processing weighbridge tickets, and maintaining photographic records.
- Support the Administration Coordinator with ad hoc projects and other administrative duties as required.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous administration or customer service experience.
- Strong IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Office applications and databases.
- Experience working with spreadsheets and data management.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
- Capable of working independently and using initiative.
- Numerate with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges.
