Administrator (Mobile Devices) – Project Selborne

About the Role

Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster. As part of the Royal Navy’s Project Selborne, this transformational training program is modernising naval education to deliver "better trained sailors to the front line faster".

📍 Location: HMS Collingwood, Fareham 🕒 Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week), Fixed-Term (until March 2027)

Security Requirement: Applicants must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC level) due to the role’s classified nature.


What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Distribution of personal electronic devices (and accessories) to naval training students on specified courses.
  • Maintaining student allocation logs for all distributed devices.
  • Setting up and updating student profiles in the mobile device management system (JAMF).
  • Processing and approving new app requests for course use.
  • Cleaning and inspecting electronic and physical components of devices upon return from students.
  • Managing password resets and escalating technical issues to second-level support.
  • Packaging and returning defective devices to suppliers for repairs.
