Lightfoots LLP Solicitors - Administrator Position
Lightfoots LLP Solicitors are looking for an Administrator to join their Mortgage Litigation team and also provide support to the general Litigation team. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload under the guidance of a manager and/or a solicitor as well as providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to the Fee Earners in the team.
Responsibilities
- Open and maintain electronic case files, keeping organised by actioning workflow entries and processing client instructions.
- Responsible for own caseload, referring all non-standard, complex and/or technical aspects to a manager or solicitor as appropriate.
- Review Land Registry Office Copies.
- Prepare routine legal documents using templates from our case management system.
- Issue proceedings, obtain Court Orders and take enforcement action.
- Prepare, file and serve Court bundles.
- Brief advocates to attend and represent our clients at Court hearings.
- Conduct legal research.
- Prepare invoices and ensure all fees are accounted for.
- Supporting Fee Earners with the day to day management of files.
Qualifications
- Past experience as a legal administrative assistant or paralegal is a plus.
- Preferable 2 years' experience in a similar or administrative role.
- Experience dealing with clients and working to service level agreements.

- Solid written and verbal communication skills are needed.
- Ability to be proactive and handle a busy workload.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and work to deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team and embrace teamwork.
- Attention to detail.
