About Us
DrPA has been operating in secure environments since 2014 providing General Practitioner services and we are now growing to provide a complete healthcare service at Campsfield House IRC by NHS England. This will be delivered directly or through a range of specialist partners who are experts in their field. We deliver our services based on our ethos of CARE:

Campsfield House IRC
Campsfield House IRC is a secure facility currently designed to accommodate up to 160 male residents in both single and dual occupancy rooms. The centre houses a combination of time-served foreign national offenders and immigration offenders while the Home Office arranges their removal from the UK.
Residents are not permitted to leave the centre or access the local area. Consequently, recreational, educational, healthcare, living, and faith-related facilities are provided entirely onsite.
The healthcare department provides a range of services including primary care, mental health, substance misuse, pharmacy, dental, optometry, physiotherapy, podiatry, and audiology delivered either by us or our specialist partners.
Join us at the beginning…Where possible, this role will be starting before the centre opens. During this period, you will be undertaking your company and centre induction, supporting setting up the department, helping where required, and generally supporting the service to go live as prepared as we can be.
Job Summary
Join a new service at Campsfield House focused on providing a high quality service to the residents. As an administrator, you will be providing a range of administrative support to the healthcare department. The duties will vary depending on the needs of the department with the day’s priorities agreed with the Head of Healthcare and Senior Clinical Lead. This may be processing patient referrals, making appointments, answering the phone, updating our clinical system (Systm1), preparing for or taking notes at a meeting, ordering supplies, filing, photocopying, the list goes on!

Duties
Support the healthcare department deliver a high-quality experience such as:
- Making patient appointments ensuring the clinic list is correct and the patient is advised of their appointment
- Processing referrals to local hospitals or services and following up to ensure the referral has been received and being processed
- Updating S1 patient records e.g. scanning documents to the correct record and ensuring they are appropriately coded (training provided)
- Update and maintain databases e.g. optician, dentist, and admissions
- Arrange meetings including inviting attendees, type up the agenda and prepare any documents, take minutes / actions / minutes (with training),
- Provide day to day administrative support to the head of healthcare, and senior clinical lead as required. E.g. photocopying, booking rooms, etc.
- Archiving – sending and receiving of written notes, where necessary
- Making up of books for nursing staff, e.g. shift planner, tick sheets, and so on
- Place orders with suppliers ensuring stock levels are adequately maintained
- Answer the phone in a polite and friendly way ensuring any messages or passed on or any agreed actions are completed
- Support visitors and contractors to the healthcare department through
- Booking gate passes, where required
- Efficiently collecting and escorting visitors/contractors to the healthcare department from/to reception and other departments within the site, as required

- Good general education
Skills
- Well organised and methodical approach to work
- Good communication which is both professional and friendly
- Able to get on with tasks but know when to ask for help
- Can multitask and prioritise as needed
- Good IT skills (S1 training will be provided)
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Track record of delivering consistently accurate and high-quality work
General Information

Disclosure and Barring Service Check & CTC Clearance
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
This post will require the holder to undertake and successfully complete the Counter Terrorism Clearance (CTC) process.
Please note, in order to apply, all applicants need to have been living in the United Kingdom (with residency in the UK, such as UK/Irish/EU Passport, or an Indefinite Leave to Remain Visa) for the last 5 years with no more than a 28 day break being outside of the UK and no gaps in employment during this time.
