Enable is a dynamic and vibrant organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Administrator to join us in ensuring People We Support have the same opportunities as everyone else.
Administrator - 35 hours a week - Edinburgh
£24,479 per annum
As an Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support to service teams, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operational processes. Working closely with the Regional Administration Manager, Service Managers and Team Facilitators, you will support a range of functions that are critical to maintaining high-quality services for the people we support.
You Should Have Experience In
- Experience in using a variety of computer packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Proficient keyboard skills as well as working knowledge of rota systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and organisational skills
- Proven experience working in administration and a sound understanding of the support requirements involved in providing a professional service in a fast paced environment
- Comfortable and proficient in working under pressure, multitasking to tight deadlines and managing time-lined priorities efficiently
- Attention to detail is a key requirement, as you will have oversight of many key staff operational processes: absence, training and keeping staff records up to date
- Ensuring compliance with GDPR and organisational policies
This role requires someone who can quickly adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain excellent attention to detail across a wide range of operational activities.

About You
We are looking for a highly organised individual who enjoys working collaboratively and takes a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Strong keyboard and data input skills, with experience of rota or workforce management systems.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven administration experience within a busy and demanding environment.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data.
- Confidence handling confidential information sensitively and professionally.
