Based at the Jane Atkinson Centre, this full-time, permanent position offers an opportunity to join the Waltham Forest Adults Community Health Service Single Point of Access team. The Role
As an Admin team member within the Waltham Forest Adults Community Health Service Single Point of Access team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and efficient administrative processes. Your work will directly contribute to patients' access to timely healthcare and support services, making a tangible impact on their lives.

- Provide administrative support to the Single Point of Access team, ensuring adherence to Trust protocols and procedures, particularly in maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Manage and respond to calls from GPs, acute hospitals, patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring queries are handled with professionalism and care.
- Assist with maintaining administrative systems, supporting the smooth operation of the service in a busy and dynamic environment.
Essential Skills And Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals.
- Basic awareness of IT systems and the ability to adapt to new technologies as required.
- Experience working in a busy environment, demonstrating the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to solve problems and make decisions.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Please Note
- This role operates on a 5 out of 7-day rota, with a mixture of 8:00am-4:00pm and 11:00am-7:00pm shifts.
- The Single Point of Access (SPA) team will be relocating to Havering in the future. A confirmed relocation date has not yet been agreed.
