Hays are delighted to be working with a well-established organisation in Inverness to recruit an Administrator on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a busy office environment and become an integral part of a fast-paced and supportive team. Due to increased workload, our client is looking for an individual who can hit the ground running and provide high-quality administrative support from day one. This is an ongoing temporary contract, based full-time in the office in Inverness.
Your new role
As Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring all administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently. Working closely with colleagues across the wider team, you will manage a variety of tasks, including handling incoming calls and emails, maintaining accurate records, processing documentation and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires someone who is confident in communicating with people at all levels, has a professional telephone manner and enjoys working in a busy environment where priorities can change throughout the day. You will regularly utilise Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to manage information, update records and support reporting requirements. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within strict deadlines.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have previous administration experience gained within a professional office environment. You will possess excellent IT skills, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and be comfortable handling a high volume of administrative tasks whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You will have a professional and friendly approach, excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus. The ability to prioritise a varied workload, work effectively as part of a fast-paced team and build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers alike will be key to your success. As this is an immediate requirement, candidates who are available to start at short notice will be particularly well suited to the role.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will secure an ongoing temporary assignment with a reputable Inverness-based organisation, working full-time hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. You will receive a competitive hourly rate, weekly pay through Hays and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant throughout your assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a busy and professional office environment while making a meaningful contribution to the wider team.
