Administrator/Receptionist – Part-Time Role
Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours per week, Monday–Friday)
Location: Hazeldene House, TN2 4AW
About the Role
As an Administrator/Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for all visitors to the home, performing general reception and administrative duties. Your primary support will be to the Home Manager, working collaboratively to foster a happy and caring atmosphere.
Your role encompasses various essential tasks, including but not limited to:
- Liaising with potential applicants to arrange interviews
- Updating training records on our internal systems
- Transcribing minutes of meetings from Dictaphone recordings
- Delivering newspapers to residents
- Welcoming family carers and visitors into the home

Requirements
Essential
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Exceptional communication skills with proficiency in IT systems (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Professional telephone manner
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Flexible attitude to working hours
