Admissions Administrator (Fixed-Term Contract)
About the Role
Clifton College is seeking an experienced Administrator to support the admissions team on a fixed-term basis (until August 2027 or earlier, coinciding with maternity leave).
As the Admissions Administrator, you will:
- Maintain records and analyse data from prospective and incoming pupils (applications, enquiries, and feedback).
- Manage the departmental calendar, coordinating events, tours, and administrative logistics.
- Foster relationships both internally across the college and externally to effectively support recruitment and onboarding.
This role is crucial to the smooth functioning of student recruitment and ensures a seamless transition for new pupils. You’ll need to be highly organised, meticulous, and an effective communicator.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and analysing admissions data, including applications, enquiries, and feedback forms.
- Co-ordinating admissions events (tours, open days, parent seminars) and maintaining the departmental calendar.
- Liaising with prospective pupils, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience.
- Supporting efficient onboarding processes and maintaining pupil records.
- Assisting with reporting, ensuring accuracy, and making available to senior management when required.

Requirements
- Relevant administrative or admissions experience, preferably within an educational or client-facing environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, understanding both verbal and written clarity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred) and familiarisation with college systems would be ideal.
- An understanding of data protection and GDPR.
