Admissions and Registry Officer
Admissions and Registry Officer
As an Admissions and Registry Officer, you will be responsible for managing student admissions, maintaining accurate student records, and ensuring a smooth administrative experience from application through to graduation. You'll work closely with prospective students, academic departments, and colleagues to provide an efficient and supportive admissions service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process student applications accurately and efficiently in line with admissions policies.
- Communicate with prospective students regarding application progress, offers, and entry requirements.
- Prepare and issue offer letters, conditional and unconditional offers, status letters, and rejection notifications.
- Support recruitment activities, including Open Days and enrolment events.
- Maintain and update student records throughout the student lifecycle.
- Process enrolment, registration, and re-enrolment activities.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and institutional policies.
- Respond promptly to enquiries from applicants, students, and staff.
- Liaise with academic departments and external organisations where required.
- Support graduation and awards processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative systems and processes.

What We're Looking For
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using databases or student records systems is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A professional, approachable manner with a commitment to excellent customer service.

Working Arrangements
- Full-time, office-based role at our Oldham Campus.
- Flexibility to support events and provide cover during periods of staff absence, including occasional work at other OLC Europe sites.
