Contract & Availability

Seasonal contract until 6 September. Flexible schedule in line with business needs:

  • Minimum of 4–5 days per week
  • Weekdays and weekends

About the Role

Merlin’s London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure! London are looking for Admissions Hosts to join their dynamic, sales and customer-centric team. You’ll welcome guests to Far, Far Away or Traitors Gate—charting a course through world-class entertainment while being the first impression of our attractions.

Role highlights:

  • Based on London’s vibrant South Bank, you’ll champion our attractions to passers-by and drive footfall.
  • Tailor unforgettable visitor experiences—helping guests see, do, and enjoy everything Merlin offers.
  • Sales-focused role: Upsell tickets, upscale custom visits, and secure group bookings.
  • Customer service is at your core—building rapport, managing queues, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests.
  • Play a key part in entertaining, engaging, and delighting guests across both attractions.

Qualifications & Experience

Must have:

  • Flexible availability for weekdays, weekends, and peak trading
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Proven upselling experience (selling tickets/attractions)
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Strong performance stakeholder drive—encompassing revenue targets and KPIs

Desirable but not essential:

  • Any previous visitor experience or familiarisation with theme parks/attractions.
  • Confidence in adaptable frontline leadership—ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of health/safety or operational procedures within entertainments.
