Admissions Officer – Tower Hamlets

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Admissions Officer to join a successful and welcoming secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional to play a key role in supporting pupil admissions and ensuring a positive experience for prospective students and their families.

The school is a well-established and highly regarded secondary setting serving a diverse local community. With a strong focus on academic achievement, inclusion, and student wellbeing, the school prides itself on fostering a supportive learning environment where all students are encouraged to reach their full potential. The school benefits from strong community links, a dedicated staff team, and a commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences for every learner.

As an Admissions Officer, you will be responsible for managing the admissions process from initial enquiries through to enrolment, ensuring all procedures are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in line with local authority and school policies. You will act as a key point of contact for families, staff, and external agencies, helping to maintain accurate pupil records and supporting the smooth operation of the school's administrative functions.

This is an ongoing position, offering the opportunity to become a valued member of a busy and supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the pupil admissions process from enquiry to enrolment.
  • Process applications and maintain accurate admissions records and databases.
  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective parents, carers, and students regarding admissions enquiries.
  • Liaise with local authorities and other external agencies regarding admissions and pupil transfers.
  • Organise and coordinate school tours, open events, and admissions meetings where required.
  • Maintain accurate student records in line with GDPR and school policies.
  • Prepare admissions reports, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Support the wider administration team with general office duties as required.
  • Ensure compliance with admissions legislation, school policies, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Contribute to providing an efficient, professional, and welcoming front-of-house service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
