We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind.  Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

What You’ll Be Doing / How You’ll Be Involved

A rare opportunity has arisen to join London Borough of Camden’s Family Friends and Fostering Service as a Panel Coordinator. The post holder would become part of the Family Friends and Fostering Service which is child-focused and passionate about their role in the safe placement of children and young people, who are looked after by London Borough of Camden.

The role of the Panel Coordinator is a multidimensional one. Effective fostering and permanence panels are crucial to the delivery of a family and fostering service, and the provision of services for looked after children. The efficient administration of panels, including the provision of clear and accurate minutes, pre panel and post panel preparation is a skilled and complex task that is essential to the smooth and effective operation of panel.

The role of a Panel Coordinator enables services to meet their strategic objectives of approving and reviewing foster carers and ensures the smooth and effective running of the panel, which is crucial to the delivery of a good family and friends fostering service that deliver for our Children, Young People, and their families/carers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
