Summary
The ADT Operator plays a crucial role in the Building & Construction industry, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of articulated dump trucks (ADTs) on site. This permanent, full-time position is based on-site across Scotland; it requires a dedicated individual who can contribute to the successful completion of construction projects while adhering to safety regulations and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate articulated dump trucks (ADTs) safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Transport materials and equipment to designated locations on site
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as required
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues to the site supervisor
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and project timelines

- Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for ADT operation
- Previous experience operating articulated dump trucks in a construction environment
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to various sites across Scotland
