Adult Coordinator - East Surrey

Location: Astolat, Guildford, Surrey

Salary: £31,100 - £32,557 (Full Time Equivalent) Vacancy Type: Permanent (18 hours per week, part-time)


About the Role

Do you love creating safe, enjoyable, and supportive spaces that provide adult carers with respite, connection, and the personal support they deserve?

Are you passionate about delivering group activities—both in-person and online—to ensure adult carers feel heard, valued, and supported? Do you have experience working in a community-focused environment, ideally with vulnerable or isolated adults?

If so, this role could be for you. You’ll help Adult Coordinator carers across Surrey feel connected, empowered, and valued.


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate in-person and online group activities and sessions tailored for adult carers.
  • Work closely with Engage & Connect leadership team and report to the Adults Manager.
  • Support the delivery of accessible hubs, sessions, and activities while considerate of carers’ work and family commitments.
  • Operate across evenings and weekends to ensure flexibility for participants.
  • Ensure your role involves travel across Surrey, with a geographic focus on East Surrey.
  • Maintain a collaborative approach within a flexible team environment.

Requirements & Essentials

  • Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car due to travel demands.
  • Prior experience in a community-focused setting, working with vulnerable or isolated adults is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt and deliver activities both in-person and online.
  • Understanding of the challenges and needs of adult carers.
