Voyage Care is seeking a Support Worker Apprentice to study for an Adult Care Worker Level 2 qualification. You will assist with daily living activities, learn essential care skills, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere within our service.

Responsibilities
- Communicate with individuals using appropriate methods, including tact, empathy, and diplomacy, potentially using specialist communication methods after training.
- Assist with personal care under supervision, including bathing and using moving and handling equipment.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans.
- Accompany individuals on outings and activities.
- Assist with household activities such as cooking, mealtimes, laundry, and cleaning.
- Record and complete appropriate documentation accurately.
- Handle cash for errands and manage service users’ monies.
- Undertake and complete the Apprenticeship Programme within the agreed timescale.
- Undertake relevant training to professionally develop.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.
- Attend, participate, and contribute to team meetings.
- Comply with the company’s Equal Opportunities Policy.
