Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adults Social Worker for its client’s Community Team based in Croydon

This is a full-time agency role offering up to £34 per hour, with hybrid working arrangements and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults within the local community.

Your Duties as an Adults Social Worker

  • Manage a caseload of adults with varying levels of need, including complex cases where appropriate
  • Complete Care Act assessments, reviews, and reassessments
  • Develop and review person-centred support plans that promote independence and wellbeing
  • Undertake safeguarding enquiries and manage risk effectively
  • Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and apply the Mental Capacity Act where appropriate
  • Support hospital discharges and help prevent unnecessary admissions
  • Work collaboratively with health services, housing providers, voluntary organisations, and other partner agencies
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance to adults and their carers
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records
  • Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support and mentor less experienced colleagues where required

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent)
  • Current Social Work England (SWE) registration
  • Experience completing assessments, reviews, and safeguarding interventions within Adult Social Care
  • Good knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and related legislation
  • Strong multi-agency partnership working skills
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
  • A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to practice
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for adults and their families
