Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adults Social Worker – Learning Disabilities
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adults Social Worker – Learning Disabilities for its client’s Community Learning Disability Team based in Havering. This is a full-time agency role offering £30–£32 per hour, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live independently, remain safe, and access the services they need to achieve positive outcomes.

Your Main Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of adults with learning disabilities, including complex cases where appropriate
- Undertake person-centred assessments, reviews, and support planning
- Complete safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments
- Support safe hospital discharges and prevent avoidable admissions
- Develop and review personalised care and support plans
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team alongside health and social care professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide mentoring or supervision support to colleagues where appropriate

What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A recognised Social Work qualification
- Current Social Work England (SWE) registration
- Experience undertaking assessments, reviews, and safeguarding interventions within adult social care
- Good knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and relevant legislation
- Strong multi-agency partnership working skills
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to practice
- A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for adults and their families
