Job Description
Job Title: Advanced Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)
Location: England or the Czech Republic
Role Type
We are seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer (Mechanical) at Honeywell, working from either England or the Czech Republic, depending on your personal location. You will be responsible for investigating & resolving technical issues raised by customers from across the aviation industry, to include airlines, operators, MROs and aircraft OEMs. You will provide technical support to Honeywell Aerospace’s array of mechanical & electro-mechanical products remotely.
This is a hybrid / remote role, you will work either mainly from a customer site, or our office at least 3 days a week, dependent on the project you are currently working on. We tend to work from home when not on site.

Key Responsibilities
This is a varied role, and changes depending on your assignment, and the customer needs. You could be focussing on an airline’s day to day operations, and keeping them flying, and for the next customer, it could be working with a smaller operator, building long team relationships and finding new ways that Honeywell can support their growth.

Being single point of contact/customer focal of assigned customers for Honeywell Aerospace products and/or system technical issues Build and maintain strong customer relationships, initiating corrective actions to ensure satisfaction with Honeywell products and services Provide multi-disciplinary technical expertise, (mechanical and avionics), and operational guidance to help customers achieve proficiency in operating and maintaining Honeywell products Respond to telephone support cases from customers in real time Provide on-site field service support by deploying to customer aircraft locations to resolve complex technical issues as required and Build relationships with assigned Airline Customers with periodic visits regularly scheduled calls and face-to-face quarterly visits/meetings at assigned Airline Customers locations, Europe wide Interpret and communicate technical support data; provide on-the-job training; act as liaison between Honeywell Aerospace and customer personnel
Key Skills And Qualifications
Ability to travel across Europe when required Full right to work in the UK without the need of sponsorship, and living within a commutable daily commute to our office Bachelor’s degree in aircraft engineering, (not avionics), or extensive equivalent hands-on experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and operate independently with minimal supervision Solid experience troubleshooting mechanical and electro-mechanical systems on business, commercial, or military aircraft Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
