Job Description

Job Title: Advanced Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)

Location: England or the Czech Republic

Role Type

We are seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer (Mechanical) at Honeywell, working from either England or the Czech Republic, depending on your personal location. You will be responsible for investigating & resolving technical issues raised by customers from across the aviation industry, to include airlines, operators, MROs and aircraft OEMs. You will provide technical support to Honeywell Aerospace’s array of mechanical & electro-mechanical products remotely.

This is a hybrid / remote role, you will work either mainly from a customer site, or our office at least 3 days a week, dependent on the project you are currently working on. We tend to work from home when not on site.

We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. Our hardware and software solutions help create more fuel-efficient aircraft, more direct and on-time flights and safer skies.

Safer, More Fuel-Efficient Flying and Innovations for the Future of Aviation.

Key Responsibilities

This is a varied role, and changes depending on your assignment, and the customer needs. You could be focussing on an airline’s day to day operations, and keeping them flying, and for the next customer, it could be working with a smaller operator, building long team relationships and finding new ways that Honeywell can support their growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
