Advanced Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)

About the Role
We are seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer (Mechanical) at Honeywell, based either in England or the Czech Republic. In this hybrid/remote role, you will:
- Investigate and resolve technical issues raised by customers across the aviation industry (airlines, operators, MROs, and aircraft OEMs).
- Provide technical support for Honeywell’s mechanical and electro-mechanical products (remote or on-site).
- Work 3+ days a week either on-site with customers or from our office, alternating with remote work.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customers, addressing technical issues with mechanical and avionics expertise.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction with Honeywell’s products and services.
- Provide multi-disciplinary technical guidance, resolving mechanical/electro-mechanical system failures.
- Respond to real-time customer support calls and resolve technical issues remotely or on-site.
- Conduct on-site servicing, deploying to customer locations to resolve critical problems.
- Train customer personnel, act as a liaison between Honeywell and aviation teams.
- Schedule frequent one-on-one visits and quarterly in-person meetings with assigned airline customers across Europe.

Key Skills & Qualifications
- Full work visa authorization for the UK (no sponsorship required) plus local commute feasibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in aircraft engineering (not avionics) or extensive hands-on experience.
- Strong technical aptitude in diagnosing and repairing aircraft systems (mechanical/electro-mechanical).
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to collaborate independently.
- Customer service experience, focused on satisfaction-driven problem-solving.
