Advanced CAD/CAM Engineer
Design and Supply Ltd has been a trusted steel door manufacturer for over 30 years, delivering durable, bespoke solutions to the construction, commercial, and residential sectors. We are looking for an Advanced CAD/CAM engineer to join our expanding team and support the delivery of high-quality products within our Slimline steel glazed door department.
Responsibilities
- Be an efficient and supportive part of our design team.
- Responsible for the input of design parameters into bespoke automation software.
- Provide and be able to interpret detailed integration drawings including steel curtain walling for architects, contractors, and manufacturing.
- Provide technical assistance to architects, contractors, and production.
- Attending design meetings on site when required.
- Attend meetings with senior staff to help identify and resolve any issues.

The Successful Applicant Will Have The Following Characteristics
- Excellent time-keeping and prioritization skills.
- A keen eye for detail when assessing architect drawings and site requirements.
- Experience in working with architects and the construction industry is essential.
- Experience using CAD/CAM software is essential.
- A methodical and consistent mindset is essential.
- Experience with building regulations relating to drawings is highly desirable.

Hours
39 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 7.30am – 4.00pm
- Friday: 7.30am – 3.00pm
Salary will be dependent upon applicant’s ability.
