Cardiac Physiologist/Cardiac Scientist Specialising in Echocardiography
We are looking to recruit a qualified Cardiac Physiologist/Cardiac Scientist specialising in Echocardiography; to join our friendly and established team.
This is an exciting time to join our busy Cardio-Respiratory Department. QEH has recently welcomed 2 additional cardiologists. We are looking for an enthusiastic and aspirational individual to help us develop echo services for West Norfolk.
We have a patient-centred attitude, striving to provide the best possible care for our patients in a positive and supportive environment within the Trust. Learning and development are encouraged and heavily supported within our department.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate extensive expertise within echocardiography, have excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills with a willingness to participate in teaching, training, and mentoring at all levels.

Responsibilities:
- Be an independent practitioner in Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography.
- Participate in specialised procedures such as TOE, Stress Echo, and Contrast/Bubble Studies, working closely with the Cardiologists.
- Perform a variety of diagnostic tests provided by the department.
Requirements:
- Extensive expertise within echocardiography.
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to participate in teaching, training, and mentoring at all levels.
Development:
- Newly qualified staff will be supported to develop experience and gain additional competencies required.
- Continuation of professional development within the role is essential.
