Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Great Western Medical Practice & Whinhill Medical Practice Aberdeen

Are you an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in primary care?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated ACP to join our multidisciplinary teams, working across Great Western Medical Practice and Whinhill Medical Practice in Aberdeen. This is an exciting opportunity to work across two well-established GP practices, providing high-quality, patient-centred care while helping to shape and modernise primary care services.

Working as an autonomous clinician, you'll play a key role in assessing, diagnosing and managing patients with a wide range of acute and long-term conditions. You'll work alongside experienced GPs, nurses, pharmacists and the wider practice team to ensure patients receive the right care, at the right time.

  • Manage complete episodes of care, using advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
  • Independently prescribe where appropriate and contribute to safe, effective prescribing.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Support the ongoing development of innovative models of primary care.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, service improvement and the delivery of safe, effective care.
  • Provide clinical leadership and share knowledge with colleagues across both practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
