Your Daily Impact
- Strengthen decision-making in public and private sector organisations through mathematical modelling, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
- Work with agile practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external clients on problem-solving.
- Implement end-to-end analytics, from data exploration and model design to solution handover.
Primary Responsibilities
✔ Problem-Solving: Use advanced analytics to tackle tough challenges with data-driven solutions. ✔ Client Engagement: Translate business needs into technical linguistic for non-technical stakeholders. ✔ Collaboration: Engage in live in-person sessions (e.g., whiteboarding) alongside asynchronous communication on Microsoft Teams. ✔ Tools & Tech: Leverage:
- Cloud/Big Data: Data Bricks, PySpark (Python)
- Modelling: R, Excel, Python, SQL
- Visualisation/BI: PowerBI, Palantir Foundry ✔ Agile Delivery: Work closely with teams under agile project management principles.

Requirements
Essential
✅ Education
- Degree/Masters/PhD in data science, mathematics, operations research, physics, or statistics from a leading university.
✅ Technical & Analytical Skills
- Experience conducting evidence-based analyses, designing models/trends, and supporting data-centric decision-making.
- Proficiency in:
- Writing Python (PySpark preferred), R, and Excel.
- Database/applied SQL, and data visualisation tools like PowerBI.
- Hands-on experience with big data platforms or cloud solutions.
✅ Project Delivery
- Fully managed an analytics/modelling lifecycle: from problem formulation to testing/tool handoff.
- Delivered projects involving one of the following specialisms:
- Advanced analytics/data science/machine learning
- Operational research modelling
- Data engineering/Cloud platforms
- Dashboarding/visualisation
✅ Soft Skills
- Garner a genuine affinity for complex problem-solving and an inquisitive mindset.
- Clear communicator: Translate technical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Regardless of specific skills, practise in consulting, advisory or client-facing delivery.
Desirable (Nice to Have)
- Soft Skill Elevation:
- Proven project management, stakeholder management, and client-facing consultative experience.
- Expertise in analytical solution lifecycle (e.g., Discovery, Development, Rollout, Implementation, Managed Service).
- Client Success:
- Managed presentations, data science propositions, or behavioural science implementations during engagements.
Security Clearance Note
- UK-based candidates must possess a UK security clearance (or qualify for one).
- Prerequisites:
- British citizenship or 5+ years of continuous UK residency.
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard check completed.
