Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We’re Looking For:

A 5-8 years PQE lawyer qualified in England & Wales, Scotland or overseas, who’s ready to take their expertise into the next chapter of modern legal practice.

Be technically excellent, commercially minded, and solutions‑focused.  A confident communicator who builds great relationships across different specialisms, and comfortable working directly with clients. Enjoy collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and bring an organised, proactive approach to leading key aspects of complex project delivery.

A genuine interest in legal tech is key – especially in how legal and technical know‑how can be applied in new and creative ways to bring client value.  Experience with financial institutions, construction, or infrastructure is a bonus, but not essential.

You don’t need to be a technologist.  What matters is curiosity, a growth mindset, and a willingness to explore new ways of working.
